About...

I started off making wearables and accessories, but I often ran into problems with the finished size. It was a while until I understood the importance of yarn size and weight, and hook size in ending up with a completed work in the intended size.
I live in a country where crochet supplies are few and far between, requiring a crocheter to pay ridiculous amounts of money to get supplies, so I have to make do with what I can get. I soon discovered the art of amigurumi (Japanese: "knitting-wrapping-around", which almost perfectly describes what they are); with these, sizing matters a lot less. Besides, amigurumi are much more fun to make!
